Disposal of Vehicles

All end-of-lease vehicles managed by VicFleet are disposed of by public auction. The Government's contracted provider of auction services is Manheim Fowles. Auctions are held every Wednesday morning.

VicFleet is also responsible for many of the tasks associated with the disposal of end-of-lease government vehicles, including -

• inspecting the vehicle
• detailing the vehicle
• rectification
• setting the reserve price
• arranging the sale, and
• processing the proceeds of sale.
