About VicFleet

VicFleet products and services are central to the management of the Victorian Government's motor vehicle fleet.

These services are provided by the Government Services Group at the Department of Treasury and Finance. The Government Services Group is the portfolio responsibility of the Minister for Finance, WorkCover and the Transport Accident Commission, Tim Holding MP.

What does VicFleet do?

• Facilitates the financial and organisational development of the Victorian Government motor vehicle fleet by providing:
  • Vehicle acquisition, maintenance and disposal services;
  • Whole-of-Government vehicle related contracts; and
  • A vehicle lease facility for Government Departments and Agencies
• Maintains the Whole-of-Government motor vehicle policy environment and provides advice to government on motor vehicle issues;
• Operates a vehicle hire service to government organisations via the State Government Vehicle Pool (SGVP); and
• Provides a range of fleet management services for client departments and agencies (VicFleet Management and Leasing).

Organisational environment

VicFleet’s central management, policy and finance functions are located at 120 Collins Street, Melbourne.

The State Government Vehicle Pool (SGVP) operates from the Basement level at 55 St Andrews Place, East Melbourne.
